“Love does no wrong to a neighbor; therefore love is the fulfilling of the law.” -Romans 13:10
This verse is merely a summary of Paul’s exhortation to not withhold from any that which is due them, be it money, honor, or obedience, but especially love. When we truly love our neighbors, we are doing the very opposite of wronging our neighbors. Because this is the case, love is actually the fulfilling the law.
One word of caution, however. Loving our neighbor this way is not the means of salvation; it is a result of our salvation, faith in Christ who loved us with an everlasting love. Christ, who loved us, fulfilled the law on our behalf, when he became a man, died for us, and rose the third day to take his place at the right hand of the Father.
