Unsearchable!

“Oh, the depth of the riches and wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are his judgments and how inscrutable his ways! “For who has known the mind of the Lord, or who has been his counselor?” “Or who has given a gift to him that he might be repaid?” For from him and through him and to him are all things. To him be glory forever. Amen.” -Romans 11:33–36

Paul concludes his assertion that the covenant has not failed and the explanation of the mystery which is God’s plan for salvation with an impromptu doxology. Filled with praise and adoration for the infinite abundance of God’s rich grace combined with his omniscience and subsequent wisdom, Paul delights in praise and quotes Scripture that affirms and amplifies his awe!

All things are from God and through God and to God! There is no one to whom God is indebted for anything. All are debtors to him. There is no one who could plumb the depths or scale the heights of his wisdom and ways. He alone deserves all glory forever!
