Over the Easter Weekend, I published a two-part series about Holy Saturday on my Substack. In case you don’t subscribe to my weekly Newsletter and because I haven’t been publishing on my blog consistently as of late, it’s quite possible you may have missed it.
In any case, I wanted you to know the posts exist—and hope that you read them—because they address an important doctrine that is often overlooked by modern Christians; and, in some cases, even rejected by some modern evangelicals and fundamentalists.
You can read Part One and Part Two using these links.
Don’t forget to let me know your thoughts in the comments here or over on Substack.
Cheers!
Scott
Craig Darby says
Thank you. I’ve struggled with the degree of Jesus’s sacrifice. I think most believers in God, sinners that we are, would die on a cross if they thought it was a direct path to spending eternity at the right hand of God. But I’m going to have second thoughts if it involves a detour to hell.
