Slaves of God

But now that you have been set free from sin and have become slaves of God, the fruit you get leads to sanctification and its end, eternal life. -Romans 6:22

 For when in the previous verses described their condition before Christ. But now describes their condition in Christ presently: they are no longer slaves to sin but have been set free from sin and made slaves of God. 

And as slaves of God, the fruit they are now harvesting is not shameful as the fruit was that they were harvesting as slaves to sin. And it doesn’t lead to death as it did before. 

As slaves of God, the fruit they get is that of being made holy and its end result, eternal life!
