You Are More Valuable Than That

Nature is a metaphor. It teaches us about our Heavenly Father.

Your Father well cares for the birds who scavenge their food, animals without the faculty of reason that would prompt them to farm–to sow and reap.

Don’t be anxious. Be encouraged. You are more valuable to your Father than even the birds.

And look how good he takes care of them.

Look at the birds of the air: they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they?” (Matthew 6:26, ESV)
