Be Good

Be good.

God is good. God is good to us. It’s God’s goodness that leads us to repentance. We are called to emulate God in his goodness.

Everyone likes to feel good, and people around you need a good example.

Goodness makes truth true, and beauty beautiful. If you are good, there is that much less badness in the world.

So, today, do good work. Think good thoughts. Do a good deed. Say a good word. Make a good decision. You might just have a good day.

Or despisest thou the riches of his goodness and forbearance and longsuffering; not knowing that the goodness of God leadeth thee to repentance?” (Romans 2:4, KJV)

Beloved, do not imitate evil but imitate good. Whoever does good is from God; whoever does evil has not seen God.” (3 John 11, ESV)
